Terms and Conditions
Payment:
Iia Madsen accepts payment with VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard. Payment will be deducted from your account when the item is shipped. For pre-orders, the amount will be deducted before delivery.
All amounts are in DKK and EUR. Danish kroner and EUR include VAT. Iia Madsen uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your card information with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that your information cannot be intercepted.
Delivery:
Iia Madsen delivers on all weekdays for orders placed before 10:00.
Delivery Methods and Conditions:
If you make an online purchase, the painting you buy may be on display. In such cases, I will arrange to have it brought home as quickly as possible and sent to you. I will contact you to discuss the best delivery options for you.
Larger paintings are shipped by a freight carrier, and the price varies depending on your location. If the shipping cost is higher than what you paid when placing your order, you will be contacted after purchase. The painting will only be shipped once you have approved any new shipping cost. The purchase can be canceled if you do not agree to the new shipping cost. Framed lithographs are also shipped by a freight carrier, following the same procedure, as they cannot be shipped by regular mail due to the glass.
Posters are shipped with GLS/DAO to your nearest parcel shop.
For international buyers, your painting may be shipped as a roll, and you may need to have a frame fitter/gilder mount it on a stretcher. This depends on the distance and shipping costs. Regardless of how the painting is shipped, your art will be carefully and securely packed to withstand the journey.
Warranty:
A 2-year warranty is provided in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act. Our warranty covers defects in material and/or manufacture. The warranty does not cover faults or damages caused by incorrect operation of the product/service.
Iia Madsen will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Refund:
If a refund is agreed upon, please provide your bank details so that the agreed amount can be transferred.
Right of Withdrawal:
There is a 14-day full right of return for items purchased in our webshop. The period is counted from the day you receive the order. You are responsible for the cost of the return. The withdrawal must be reported to me within 14 days of the purchase, and you must return the shipment within 14 days of the withdrawal.
Notify us by email at iia.madsen@hotmail.com, clearly stating that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Condition of the Item When Returning:
You are only liable for any deterioration in the item’s value due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the item’s nature, properties, and the way it works. In other words, you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.
If the item has been tried beyond what is described above, we consider it used, meaning that upon withdrawal of the purchase, you will only receive a partial or no refund, depending on the item’s commercial value.
To receive a full refund, you must do the same as you can in a physical store. You may test the item, but not use it.
